Delete your Tablekin account
Tablekin is made by Gooder Software LLC. Here's how to delete your account, or just some of your data, and what happens to it.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Tablekin and go to Household.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm.
This removes your account and your diet profile right away.
Can't open the app?
Email us from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm when it's done.
What's deleted
- Your account: your name, email address, and sign-in.
- Your diet information: eating pattern, allergies, dislikes, and diet goals.
- Your phone's notification address, and your Claude connection.
- If you're the only person with an account in your household, the household and everything in it: recipes and their photos, meal plans, lists, and history. A household with no members left is deleted 30 days after the last person leaves.
What's kept, and for how long
- We delete your data within 30 days. Copies in encrypted backups are gone within a day after that.
- If others are still in your household, the household stays with them, with its shared recipes, plan, and list. Your name stays in its history, marked as having left, until the household is deleted. Take a copy of the recipes first if you want them: Recipes, then Export all recipes.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription. If you pay for Tablekin Household, cancel it too: on iPhone, in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions; on Android, in Google Play, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Delete some data, and keep your account
You don't have to delete your account to remove things. In the app:
- A recipe: open it, tap Edit, then Delete recipe.
- A recipe photo: open the recipe, tap Edit, tap Remove on the photo, then save. The photo is deleted right away.
- Diet and allergy details: open Household, tap the person, and change or clear their eating pattern, allergies, and dislikes. You can change your own details and those of people without accounts; the household's owner can change anyone's.
- A grocery item: swipe it left and tap Delete, or press and hold it and tap Delete from the list.
- A shopping trip: open Household, then Spending, tap the trip, then Delete trip.
- A store: open Household, then Stores, and tap Delete.
- Leave a household: open Household, then Account, then Leave, and confirm. Your diet information is removed from it, and it keeps its shared content.
So that changes can be undone, a copy of what you delete stays in your household's history while the household exists. To have it all deleted for good, delete your account, or email us and tell us what to remove; we'll delete it within 30 days, and copies in encrypted backups are gone within a day after that.
